Surf lifesaving and youth development receive grants in latest round

Two organisations from the north of the north are amongst eleven recipients receiving grants from the fourteenth round of the Harcourts Foundation, a charity set up by Harcourts Real Estate Group to provide support that helps, grows and enriches our communities.

This round’s $30,199 was spread over the country with two successful recipients being from West Auckland and Red Beach on the Hibiscus Coast.

Tandem Realty Business Owner Colin Hair says they granted to the Red Beach Surf Lifesaving Club because they do such a fantastic job in the community.

“From training youngsters all the way through to volunteer patrols and first aid work during the season they work really hard.”

Red Beach Surf Lifesaving Club received $3,000 granted by Harcourts Tandem Realty towards funding 35 surf club members to attend and gain First Aid courses. Red Beach Surf Lifesaving spokesperson Debra Cairns says it is a New Zealand Surf …
