Bookend is a philanthropic environmental education initiative that seeks to inspire students to solve environmental problems. This donation assisted towards funding a Tasmania-based competition among schools with winning students taking part in on-ground research projects in remote areas of Australia.

Funding for a Spring Camp for 30 disadvantaged children (aged 8-12 years) during September school holidays.

Sponsorship for the North Queensland Charity Gala Ball in Townsville, one of their primary fundraisers for the year, with all monies raised used for research to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes through the Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) .

This donation will fund a fence surrounding new units built to accommodate and support patients receiving treatment for cancer and other serious illnesses.

Caboolture Regional Domestic Violence Service Inc.

Used towards funding a program for training at high schools promoting healthy relationships, using other agencies such as police, youth workers, school counselors, etc. for delivery. The funds were used to employ part-time or sessional workers to coordinate the delivery of the program and offer specialised skills such as self-defense, art or music, with 4-6 sessions of 1 hour each over the school term.

Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA)

Funding of the Mad Mums of Mandurah Tea Party in support of BCNA. This event will raise awareness of BCNA and breast cancer, and raise further funds for the BCNA.

Nature Foundation SA / River Life Project

Nature Foundation SA is a wildlife charity, and the River Life Project is an initiative of their Water for Nature program, working with irrigators and the community to water Red Gum and Black Box on the Berri to Loxton eastern floodplain. School students, local community and irrigators will be involved, with approximately 100 people directly assisted and various threatened flora and fauna species to benefit from the watering.

South Australia $5,000

Life Education SA

Donation will assist to fund the development and delivery of tailored drug and health education programmes to young people in the southern and outer suburbs of Adelaide, both in schools and the community, using modern technology.
