Butterfly Babies - a charity within the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital Foundation

Butterfly Babies supports the Perinatal Research Centre in their quest to provide cutting-edge solutions to pregnancy and birth-related tragedies. Butterfly Babies is an initiative of the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital Foundation, and this donation secured the Harcourts Foundation as the major sponsor for their four major fundraising events throughout 2013, culminating in the Butterfly Babies Charity Ball in November.

Donation toward the North Queensland JDRF Jelly Babies Charity Ball to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, to be held in October 2013 in Townsville.

KidzWish Foundation

The KidzWish Foundation used these funds to assist with expansion of its current Sports Academy Program, including basketball/Wheelchair basketball and other activities for the children in the Illlawarra. The main aim was to employ a dedicated, qualified coach to oversee and coordinate the KizWish Sports Academy, assistance with administrative duties to obtain new members, purchase more equipment to extend the program into other sports such as tennis /Wheelchair tennis, soccer/Wheelchair soccer, bowling/Wheelchair bowling & hire additional courts.

Legacy Club of Adelaide Inc.

The Legacy Club is dedicated to supporting the families of incapacitated and deceased Veterans by providing services in a responsive and caring manner. This donation assisted in setting up the fundraising infrastructure for use in future fundraising activities, as well as the funding of the Legacy Week Harcourts Partnership.

Operation Flinders Foundation $5,000

The Operation Flinders Foundation's purpose is to provide young men & women, who are identified as being at-risk, with demanding outdoor challenges and ongoing support to help them develop their personal attitudes of self-confidence, motivation, leadership, teamwork and responsibility, so they may grow as valued members of the community. These funds apply to the Operation Flinders Operation Flinders Foundation "Trail Blazer Challenge" , an operation held in the northern Flinders ranges, accomodating up to 90 participants (divided ito 9 teams), with teams operating independently and trek 100km in 8 days. These funds will cover the costs of 3 people to attend this event.

St Vincent de Paul Society (SA) Inc.

The St Vincent de Paul Society endeavours to serve those in need, to promote healthy families, responsible stewardship of the environment and strive for a just environment. Fred's Van is a good work of St Vincent de Paul that feeds approximately 24,000 homeless and hungry across 7 sites in Adelaide. These funds were used toward the "Souptember Luncheon".
