The Christchurch Early Intervention Trust

Funding towards a long term project tracking the development of children's communication at the center. This involves parents and staff members completing developmental questionnaires every six months in order to provide a longitudinal picture of each child's development from both family and professional perspectives. There is now sufficient data to begin analysis.

Funding to replace the mess tent which is no longer up to the job is was designed for. At the last jamboree it leaked and was of unsound nature.

Funding towards the redevelopment of the Sunnyvale Sports Center not only upgrading the existing buildings function and facilities, but also extending its usage so as to secure its future and also the needs of the growing local community.

Ngaruawahia Community House

The project 'Fields of Remembrance' is a tribute to all those that served and died in WW1. The field will be erected every year in April and they would like to purchase 61 street flags that represent ANZAC's to be flown for the month of April every year.

Funds to purchase two new computers as current equipment is becoming unreliable.

Support to erect signage at their new office in Frankton. They have recently moved into a new office premises and need some signage at the office entrance and roadside entrance to help clients find where they are and profile the organization to the community.

The Trust implements a number of music programmes across NZ schools. The group are requesting funds towards overheads.

The group would like to purchase some new toys, specifically for this application, the purchase of 2 new ride on toys and a few of the smaller items on their list.

Child Matters

The funding is for the use of 'Buddies' cardboard cut outs which represent a percentage of children that have been abused in the region. On Buddy Day the cutouts are cared for by business and community leaders. It educates the community in their role in protecting children and that keeping kids safe is everyone's responsibility.

To refurbish the school playground to better suit the needs of their growing roll - some students have profound disabilities and also a growing number of students with autism. Making everything wheelchair friendly.

The group would like support for fuel to continue their mobile night patrols and deploy some daytime patrols to areas where crime occurs.

Diabetes Youth Auckland

The group are requesting funds for a Rainbow's End By Night event. Around 400 people from the diabetes community will have exclusive use of the theme park for the evening.

For assistance with the provision of professional supervision for client services staff. These staff are employed in social worker type roles. Supervision is essential in that addresses safety and accountability in practice.

St Thomas School

Funding to set up a TV studio to broadcast the news to all our rooms and train a student film crew to record events. They would love to complement the academic and sporting areas of their school. This will give the children a chance to acquire and use different skills.

StarJam Charitable Trust

The group are requesting funds towards 'Jump Jam 4 StarJam'. Jump Jam 4 Star Jam will entail the schools particpating in their normal Jump Jam session but on this day, children bring a gold coin donation for StarJam and in return get a silicone wristband stamped with 'Jump Jam 4 StarJam 2014 and the sponsors logo.
