Little Heroes Foundation

Survivorship Services provide support for families of children with serious illness. The services support sector is often confusing for parents and information can be fragmented, so these funds were used to develop and publish a comprehensive service and support directory to be available to all parents of children living with cancer and serious illness in South Australia. The service also offers wellness support, massage, art therapy, counselling and psychologial support for families and individual children, a physical program in conjunction with the University of SA and a range of practical support to families as they adjust to living with cancer.

To provide an outreach playgroup for vulnerable families who care for children aged 0-5 years living in the Lake Cathie/Bonny Hills and Camden Haven areas. The playgroup's aim is to lessen social isolation and provide support and learning opportunities for families with young children, and provide parenting skills to enhance positive interaction between parents and their children in a safe environment.
