The Harcourts Foundation, has been selected as a finalist in the 2015 Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) Awards for Excellence in the Community Service category.
The REIQ Awards for Excellence recognise outstanding achievement and commitment to integrity in the real estate profession throughout Queensland.
CEO Harcourts Queensland, Jim Midgley said he was proud to be a part of an organisation that was truly committed to giving back to the community.
“It’s always made me proud to be part of a company that genuinely strives to help grow and enrich communities.
“In 2008, it was decided that rather than support any one charity, Harcourts would create an independent foundation that was able to give to a broad range of causes and to operate as a charity 100 per cent,” Mr Midgley said.
To date, the Harcourts foundation has raised almost $3million for a range of charities and causes across the globe.
The awards will be held on Thursday 5 February at Brisbane City Hall.
Other nominees in the Community Service category included LJ Hooker Nerang, LJ Hooker Ormeau, Laguna Real Estate, and Virgo Patterson Realty.
