Monarch helps to give back with three community groups receiving grants

Three organisations from Hamilton are amongst eleven recipients receiving grants from the fourteenth round of the Harcourts Foundation, a charity set up by Harcourts Real Estate Group to provide support that helps, grows and enriches our communities.

This round’s $30,199 was spread over the country with three successful recipients being from the Hamilton area, with all funds granted by Harcourts Monarch Real Estate.

Harcourts Monarch Real Estate Business Owner Brian King says this round’s grants were about support and also prevention in their communities.

“There have been a number of burglaries and incidents happening in different suburbs within Hamilton and the amount of media coverage this has had recently highlights to us the importance money spent in the prevention and safeguarding of peoples properties has. As a Hamilton business and in the property industry this is money well spent hence why we supported the Neighbourhood Support Group.”

Surf lifesaving and youth development receive grants in latest round

Two organisations from the north of the north are amongst eleven recipients receiving grants from the fourteenth round of the Harcourts Foundation, a charity set up by Harcourts Real Estate Group to provide support that helps, grows and enriches our communities.

This round’s $30,199 was spread over the country with two successful recipients being from West Auckland and Red Beach on the Hibiscus Coast.

Tandem Realty Business Owner Colin Hair says they granted to the Red Beach Surf Lifesaving Club because they do such a fantastic job in the community.

“From training youngsters all the way through to volunteer patrols and first aid work during the season they work really hard.”

Twelve groups benefit from NZ’s largest real estate group

Twelve organisations from around New Zealand have benefited from the latest round of the Harcourts Foundation funding, a charity set up by Harcourts Real Estate Group to provide support that helps, grows and enriches our communities.

This round’s $31,261 was spread over the country with five successful recipients from Auckland; two based in the central North Island, one from Wellington, three in Christchurch and one from the south of the South Island.

With grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 recipients came from groups such as lifesaving, early childcare, community centres, and child youth and family groups who all provide an amazing services for those in need.

These grants takes the amount donated by New Zealand since the Foundation was established in mid-2008 to more than $490,000.00 and $316,365.21 has been granted to a total of 132 New Zealand organisations and charities.
