Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters' mission is to provide youth with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships. For children (Littles) matched with a mentor (Bigs) through Big Brothers Big Sisters, having one person in their corner means the difference between graduating high school or dropping out to become part of the minimum-wage workforce. Last year, they served 3,538 local children with a 100% success rate in graduating from high school. Their Inaugural Cornhole Tournament at the Newport Dunes on September 29, 2018 is a fun-filled, family friendly event offering food, music and an official cornhold competition. This grant will support this signature fundraiser to provide more children on their waitlist with much-needed mentors to encourage economic independence and help them develop into contributing members of society.

Our Harcourts Desert Homes office in Palm Springs, California, recently participated in the 2018 Desert AIDS Project's Desert Aids Walk and raised over nearly $7,500 for the cause. We helped them out with a $500 grant from The Harcourts Foundation which will fund 25 free and confidential HIV tests.
