Funds towards 'Jump Jam 4 StarJam' - an inaugeral event on 15th August that they are holding to raise funds for their core business. Jump Jam is a youth fitness programme where participants perform aerobic movements to music.

Habitat for Humanity Ltd

The group would like assistance with the cost of a kitchen unit for a home to be built in Te Puke. They have already purchased the land and a family has been selected for the home - a couple with 3 children. The family will do 500 hours of work on this or other Habitat projects as part of the partnership arrangement we have with prospective families.

Young Men's Christian Association of Tauranga

Seeking funding for the provision of equipment for two of their programmes, specifically their OSCAR (Out of school care & recreation) Programme and their Youth programme, Raise Up! They facilitate 5 after school care centres and school holiday programmes in the Tauranga region for children aged 5-13 years.

Funding to install a 55sqm putting green in the school grounds to be used by the school children as part of the PE programmes and support the extension golf academy programmes which operate. Will also provide a leisure activity for school families and community on the weekends.

Waihi Senior Citizens Incorporated

Funding to create a concrete path - both wheelchair, mobility scooter and walker friendly around the home to allow an area for their residents and their families to walk and spend quality time together. They have raised majority of the funds however now seek funds for seating, handrails and covered areas around the walkway.

Child Flight Charitable Trust

Funding towards their project 'Flight'. Providing two aircrafts & dedicate themselves (4 pilots) to taking special kids for flights from Hamilton aerodrome & Te Kowhai airfield over Temple View, down into Raglan over the sea, down the coast and back over the Te Uku Wind farm and then land at appropriate aerodrome.

Child Matters

Funding towards Buddy Day. It involves the use of "Buddies" (cardboard cut-outs) which represent a percentage of children that have been abused in the region. On Buddy Day the cut-outs are cared for by business and community leaders. It educates the community on their role in protecting children and that keeping children safe is everybody's responsibility.

The group are seeking assistance with the operational costs of our organisation, namely power, phone and rent. Supporting people who live with ADHD and other mental health issues, building strong social support systems, education and vocational opportunities.

The New Zealand Body Art Trust

As part of the 2 week long 'Thames Art Festival', which includes a 'Wearable Arts Showcase' and a 'Steam Punk Circus', participants will be invited to attend a series of 'Making Workshops'. The group is seeking funding to run 2 workshops over 2 weekends.

We aim to develop a welcome pack to help new residents learn about local clubs, organisations, activities, events and groups. It will also benefit existing residents by providing information that they can share with their new neighbours.

The school is requesting funding towards the traditional skirts and cloaks to be worn during the performance for their neighboring Hornby High School.

Christchurch Primary School Cultural Festival Trust

They require funds to assist with the running costs of the festival. The Festival provides many positive community benefits, bringing people together to share the diverse cultures of their city and region. They have to raise enough funds to cover all the venue and AV costs for the 5 day festival. The festival is run by volunteers and a paid coordinator.

They are seeking funding for the purchase of an outdoor transportable Public Address sound system. Arahoe school places high value in the "performing arts" and as such runs a highly successful music programme. An outdoor transportable PA system would allow these groups to showcase their talents in the proper format that their hard work and expertise deserve.

North Shore Group Riding for the Disabled Inc.

Funds towards a new tractor that is safe and user friendly for their volunteers to use to mow, harrow and move equipment and feed.

Hibiscus Coast Community House

The group are seeking funds towards the design of a booklet and website that will publish the learning opportunities they have sourced.

Recreate NZ Trust

The group are requesting funding towards 4 x tablets; and 2 x handheld radio twin pack. The tablets would enable programme facilitators to have all the information required with them while undertaking programmes throughout NZ. Radios would help to keep programme facilitators in touch when running simultaneous outdoor activities with groups of participants in remote locations often without cellphone reception.

Royal Overseas League has donated a chamber music evening performance to the Hospice to assist with fundraising. The grant is requested to cover the venue hire and associated costs at the Josephine Foyer of Toitu, the Otago Settlers' Museum.
