Harcourts sponsored the Crime Stoppers Youth Challenge in 2012, working with schools throughout Queensland on a youth programme to help educate 700,000 children from grades 6 -12 about youth violence, with the aim to create safer communities Queensland wide.

Fundraising Trek on Kangaroo Island. As part of the this fundraising exercise, Variety Kickin4Kids requested financial support to raise additional funds to assist children in need in SA.

Operation Flinders Foundation

Operation Flinders provides young men and women, who have been identified as being at risk, with demanding outdoor challenges and ongoing support to help them develop their personal attitudes and values of self- confidence, leadership, teamwork & responsibility, so they may grow as valuble members of the community. The short-term goal of the Guts and Glory Project is to provide the Operation Flinders experience to a group of corporate clients with the funds raised from this project supporting a team of youth at risk.

Funds to to design, produce and distribute 10,000 copies of a booklet to give to children entering FosterCare. The booklet helps children understand their entry into Foster Care and acts as a recource for foster carers to support children in their care. As at 30/06/08 there were 31,166 Australian children living outside the family home, often due to child abuse and neglect.

The initial purpose of the Teddy Love Club Pregnancy and infant loss (TLC) support programme is to provide bereavement support to families throughout Australia who have experienced any gestational pregnancy loss to miscarriage, still birth, genetic inducement or neo natal death. The grant will assist TLC to provide a professionally printed TLC Resource Pack and to allow TLC volunteers to distribute the Resource Pack to every maternity hospital across Victoria and supply to bereaved parents directly.

Funding to produce a brochure / leaflet to be distributed to schools and educational institutions to assist in their understanding of Thalassaemia. The brochure contains info regarding the condition as well as facts that are relevant to the students' health and well being. The project supports and enriches the lives of young individuals and their families touched by the condition. Funding will enable THALAA Aust to distribute the brochures in time for the 2010 school year.
