Donation to local charity will help children and young people on a pathway to succeed

The Graeme Dingle Foundation whose overall aim is to guide Marlborough’s young people onto a positive and fulfilling life path, benefiting individuals, whānau and our communities, is the latest recipient of a donation from Harcourts Marlborough made possible through the Harcourts Foundation.

Kelvin Watts from The Graeme Dingle Foundation says, ‘With the ever-growing number of children and young people in our programmes, we require practical assistance to purchase proper equipment and storage to support the staff team in their effective delivery of the programmes. This is something the team at Harcourts Marlborough were kindly able to help us with. He adds, ‘Helping children develop self-belief is part of our contribution to society. We want every child to know that what they have inside them, is greater than any obstacle. We currently work with around 60% of our region’s young people.’


The Harcourts team in Marlborough have been supporting The Graeme Dingle Foundation for 10 years, since it begun rolling out programmes for children and young people in the Marlborough region.

Aimee McIntyre, Community Referral Coordinator in Harcourts Marlborough says, ‘The long-term goal of The Graeme Dingle Foundation is to increase the number of children and young people who take part in transformational programmes, ‘walking alongside’ students throughout their school life. This is something that really resonates with our team. She adds, ‘I also mentored a group of young adults last year through Career Navigator which is through the Graeme Dingle Foundation. The Graeme Dingle Foundation is an amazing community group that does wonders for our region and we are proud to support the charity in any way we can.’
