The Harcourts Foundation Grants $46,000 to Charity

Seven Australian-based charities have received funding grants totalling $46,000 as part of the latest round of funding grants from The Harcourts Foundation.

In Queensland, a grant of $15,000 was provided to the North Queensland Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund and $10,000 was provided to Butterfly Babies, a charity within the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Foundation.

Three charities in South Australia received funding grants including the Legacy Club of Adelaide for $5,000, Operation Flinders Foundation for $5,000 and St Vincent de Paul Society for $1,000.

In New South Wales, KidzWish Foundation also received a funding grant of $5,000 and in Tasmania Give Me 5 for Kids were provided with a grant of $5,000.

The money granted will provide these charitable organisations with the funds to carry out important research and development projects, purchase vital equipment for those in need, and run significant community projects and services.

Surf lifesaving and youth development receive grants in latest round

Two organisations from the north of the north are amongst eleven recipients receiving grants from the fourteenth round of the Harcourts Foundation, a charity set up by Harcourts Real Estate Group to provide support that helps, grows and enriches our communities.

This round’s $30,199 was spread over the country with two successful recipients being from West Auckland and Red Beach on the Hibiscus Coast.

Tandem Realty Business Owner Colin Hair says they granted to the Red Beach Surf Lifesaving Club because they do such a fantastic job in the community.

“From training youngsters all the way through to volunteer patrols and first aid work during the season they work really hard.”

The Harcourts Foundation Grants $39,000 to Charity

Eight Australian-based charities have received funding grants totalling $39,411 as part of the latest round of funding grants from The Harcourts Foundation.

In Queensland, a grant of $3,051 was provided to the Caboolture Regional Domestic Violence Service, $4,560 was granted to Supporting Chemotherapy in Cooloola, and $15,000 was provided to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International.

A $5,000 grant was provided to the Nature Foundation South Australia and a further $1,000 was granted to Life Education South Australia.

Two charities in Tasmania also received funding grants including the University of Tasmania Foundation for $5,000 and the Edmund Rice Camps Tasmania for $4,000.

In Western Australia, the Breast Cancer Network Australia also received a funding grant of $1,800.
